Coop the Magic Pug was the second children’s book I illustrated, written by singer/songwriter Dan May.
Coop is a dog with a super power to spread joy to every person he meets.
Dan wanted to capture visually how Coop made other people feel, but didn’t know the best way to do it. I brought in a golden aura as a visual motif into the story.
It was a joy to work with Dan on this charming story, relatable to any dog-lover!
